Ellon & District Royal British Legion Pipe Band is an active community band in Ellon, Aberdeenshire. For more than 50 years, the organization has helped sustain Highland piping and drumming in Ellon and the surrounding district.
The registered charity maintains strong links with the Ellon branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland and is affiliated with the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association. Its members perform for the public and support community occasions while raising funds for instruments, equipment, and instruction.
The band’s youth music program provides free or affordable piping and drumming tuition, with an emphasis on giving young people opportunities to learn, perform, and develop as musicians.
