We are a parade band, supported by the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh of the Jersey Shore.

The Pipes and Drums of the Jersey Shore Shillelagh’s was founded in 1998. The band strives to promote Irish culture through traditional Irish music in the form of bagpipes and drums.
We are a 501c charitable organization and donates approximately 75% of our performances to various charities, fundraisers, and volunteer organizations.
Anyone wanting to learn to play the bagpipes or drums are encouraged to attend our beginner lessons Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm at the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh’s in Belmar.
Anyone that knows how to play bagpipes or drums that wants to join our Pipe Band can check us out at our rehearsals on Tuesday evenings at 7pm at the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh’s in Belmar.
We ask that band members and students show an honest interest in the development and character of the band.
