The Guard Pipes & Drums is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the Celtic Arts through teaching, performance and competition of traditional and modern pipe band music. It was organized as a vehicle for the advancement and appreciation of traditional Celtic heritage and culture by providing musical education of the great highland bagpipe and drums. Our intent is to entertain people at a high level of execution which will be accomplished through practice, performance and competition.

Greater Trenton Pipes and Drums is a non-profit pipe band located in the central New Jersey area. Our members hail from Mercer, Burlington, Monmouth, Buck"s (PA), and Chester (PA) Counties. Our focus is on the education, promotion and preservation of the music of the Great Highland Bagpipes and Drums. Kristine with Sean Connery at the Tartan Day Parade Greater Trenton Pipes and Drums currently boasts over 30 playing members, and many students. We are especially proud of our education program, which has taken quite a few of our members from scratch to fully playing band members. Founded in 2000, the band is composed of 22 Pipers and drummers. Over the years, the Lia Fail Pipe and drum Corps has established itself as the premier bagpipe band in central New Jersey. Lia Fail has been honored to perform at many prestigious events, including the New Jersey Governor’s Annual Saint Patrick’s Day festivities at the governor’s residence in Princeton, Drumthwachet. The Band has also performed at a variety of functions at Princeton University, including the Annual Reunion of Princeton Alumni, the Saint Patrick’s Day celebration at the legendary Ivy Club and the famous Princeton Parade that precedes the Princeton University graduation.

The Monmouth County Police & Fire Pipes & Drums, originally named the Monmouth County Police Pipes & Drums (1999-2009), was formed to embody all sworn Law Enforcement members of Monmouth County, New Jersey (USA). Today, the Band’s members include federal, state, county and local law enforcement as well as career firefighters and public service employees and active and former members of the United States Military. It is the desire of the Monmouth County Police & Fire Pipes & Drums to foster the spirit, pride and professionalism of public safety and public service to the whole community through our performances at various venues. The Monmouth County Police & Fire Pipes & Drums will be representative of all police officers and career firefighters in Monmouth County, and will carry its responsibility with honor and integrity, so it may be seen and heard.
