Cornwall Hill College offers a vibrant and diverse cultural programme. There are a wealth of opportunities for pupils to become involved in the vibrant co-curricular programme which caters for all pupils in a relevant and contemporary manner. We encourage participation and pupils are continually challenged to expand and grow. We strongly believe that involvement in Cultural Activities is essential to the development of creative thinking and self-growth.

Durban Caledonian Society Pipe Band
The Durban Caledonian Society Pipe Band, or “Durban Callies PB” for short, consists entirely of volunteers who do it for the love of music and camaraderie.
King Shaka Regiment Pipe Band
King Shaka Regiment (formerly Durban Regiment) is a reserve force regiment of the South African National Defence Force. Our band members are all volunteers, who play for the regiment at official occasions for enjoyment.
Jeppe Pipe Band
The Jeppe Pipe Band is the oldest school pipe band in South Africa and is well-renowned here, as well as internationally. The band won the South African Pipe Band Championships in 2014 and there has since seen a huge increase in membership.
