Queen City Pipes and Drums
The Queen City Pipes & Drums came about thanks to the dedication of local pipers and drummers in the Charlotte area who wanted to promote the Great Scottish Highland Bagpipes and its percussion accompaniment to the younger generations.

Capital District Youth Pipe Band
The Scotia-Glenville Pipe Band was founded in 1991, named for the village and town in upstate New York in which it originated and giving a nod to the Scottish ancestry of Scotia’s founder, Alexander Lindsay Glen.

RCMP Pipes & Drums
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Pipes, Drums and Dancers of “National Division” (then “A” Division) were formed in the spring of 2000. In 2023, the band was moved under the Deputy Commissioner Federal Policy, resulting in the name change to National Capital Region.

White Heather Pipes & Drums
The band was started in 1990 by Pipe Major Bob Dunsmore. In 2006, Bob stepped down as Pipe Major and Bill Allison was elected as his replacement. A few years later, Bill stepped down to pursue other interests and David Veitch was elected Pipe Major.
