The NY Metro Pipe Band was formed in January 2010 under the leadership of Pipe Major Mike Mahoney and Lead Drummer Adrian Mordaunt. The founding vision was simple: build a world‐ class, internationally competitive band comprised of the best pipers & drummers in the New York metropolitan area.

The Nassau County Police Emerald Society Pipe Band was formed in 1974 and this year we are celebrating our 50th Anniversary! As part of a yearlong celebration of our half-century of service to the community, we will be travelling in August 2024 to the World Pipe Band Championship in Glasgow, Scotland. The trip will require months of hard work and preparation and your support can help us achieve our goals and continue our long-standing record of musical excellence and dedication to bagpipe and drum music!
