The Pocono Workshop takes place November 20–22, 2026, at the Sheraton Valley Forge Hotel in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. With the weekend approaching, the organizers are inviting pipers, drummers and drum majors to register for three days of instruction and music.
The workshop brings together instructors billed by the organizers as world class, including visiting teachers who do not often teach on the East Coast. It is an opportunity to develop your playing, meet other musicians and enjoy performances throughout the weekend.
What’s included
- Friday evening: an instructor recital to open the weekend.
- Saturday and Sunday: classes in piping, drumming and drum majoring, with lunch included in registration.
- Saturday evening: a ceilidh featuring a live performance by Ulster Scottish Pipe Band, described in the organizers’ announcement as the current Grade 2 World Champions.
